  Strawberry, Oaky tarry flavoured when aged in Oak.

  Another great Piedmont North Western Italian Wine.
  Although the name refers to sweet it is actually Dry.
  Low level acidity, tannic and fruity. Great for Pasta!

  Dolcetto d'Ovada, Dolcetto della Langhe
  Montegalesi.

Corvina

  From the North Eastern area of Italy. The Pride of
  Verona and Veneto. Mild fruity taste with a touch of
  Almond. Also blended with other grape.
 
  Famous Titles:  Valpolicella, Bardolino, Amerone,
  Ricioto.

Aglianico


  Grown in the ankle region of the South, originally
  from ancient Greek settlers. Full Bodied, Completely
  Rounded Tannis, High Acidity, great for Rich Meat.

  Mostly found in Sardinia with the name Pigato.
  Called Favorita in Piedmont. Great for Western
  Mediterranean Foods, Pork and Poultry.
