The heat Shield
The Heat Shield is fixed into the frame of the Bonfeu and acts as a Shield to protect the surfaces on which you're cooking. On a windy day areas of the heat shield remain cool enough to hold with your bare hands. In addition to this, always decide on a sturdy surface to cook on before you light the coals.
The Tray supports the coal and can be removed from the framework for disposing of left over ash and coals. This is what make ash and left over coal dispersing so easy. The tray simple comes loose and allows you to disperse the left over ash.
The Grill Grid
Uneven surfaces can make your grilling experience difficult. The grill grid has lifted edges to help prevent your meat from rolling off the sides. Make sure the surface is flat and safe to cook on.
