Grilling Corn on the cob

Ingredients

- 2 ears corn (peeled & clean)

- 1 tablespoon of freshly ground black pepper

- pinch of salt for flavour

- half a cup of softened butter (melted)

Method

Spread the melted butter over the corn, spreading over evenly. Sprinkle over black pepper and salt.

When barbecuing pre-heat the grill to a medium heat and keep turning over the corn frequently.

Grill the corn until slightly brown, you may wish to add some more melted butter after you finished grilling.

Use this same recipe when grilling sweet corn. (works great!)


corn on the cobb Chilli Barbecue Corn on the Cob

Ingredients

- 6 ears corn (peeled & clean)

- 1 teaspoon of chilli powder

- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- half cup melted butter

Method

In a mixing bowl, pour in melted butter together with the chilli powder. Add onion powder and garlic powder, mix ingredients.

Dip each ear of corn into the sauce coating it. Finally wrap the ears of corn in aluminium foil, big enough so the whole corn is covered.

Twist the ends of the foil closed to keep the corn inside. Place on a medium heat grill for 10 minutes turning constantly.

A thing to remember when you BBQ corn on the cob, is not to burn it. You don't want a burnt taste, just remember to BBQ corn on the cob on a medium heat. (tasty!)


Corn on the cobb BBQ Corn with Husk

Ingredients

- 6 ears corn (husks intact)

- 6 tablespoons of butter

- 1 tablespoon of oregano

- 2 tablespoons of salt

Method

Melt butter in a sauce pan then add the oregano and salt. Mix ingredients together and let cool.

Soak the corn in water for twenty minutes. Pull down husks carefully, do not remove them. With a teaspoon, coat the corn with the mixture. Pull the husks back up and tie them at the top with some string.

Start grilling corn on a medium heat grill for 15 minutes.

Very easy BBQ corn recipe which is absolutely delicious! (yummy!)
