- 1 kg extra-lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons sweet pepper relish
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of grated red onion
In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Shape into 4 burgers, bout an inch in thickness.
Grill on a medium heat, for approximately 5 to 6 minutes on each side until done.
Remember we grilling burgers and not a full sized turkey, so fast hot grilling.
- 2 kg extra-lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper
- 1 sliced onion
- half a cup of sliced button mushrooms
- slices of cheese
- red & orange peppers
- 1 sliced tomato
In a mixing bowl combine beef, salt, egg and pepper. Mix ingredients and make into burgers, about an inch thick.
In a frying pan fry the onion, peppers and mushrooms separately. Fry until softened and brown in colour.
Place burgers on a medium heat grill and barbecue on each side for about 8 minutes.
On the last 2 minutes of grilling, add the various toppings. Make different flavoured burgers with the sliced cheese, tomatoes and toppings.

- 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese
- half a cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small minced onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 6 slices of bacon
In a mixing bowl combine cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, onion, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix ingredients together and add the ground beef.
Form into 6 burgers and wrap a slice of bacon around each one. Secure bacon with toothpicks, this is one of the tastiest barbecue hamburger recipe.
Place burgers on a medium heat grill, cook for 6 minutes on each side. Once done remove toothpicks before serving.
