These recipes are quick and easy to prepare. So...let's get right to it!


"Middle Eastern Chicken Recipe"

BBQ Chicken Breasts Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons of olive oil

- 1 tablespoon of kosher salt

- quarter cup of lemon juice

- 1 clove garlic (minced)

- 1 teaspoon of cumin

- 1 teaspoon of thyme

- 1 kg of boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Method

Combine above ingredients in a saucepan and mix together thoroughly to end up with a sauce.

Marinate the chicken breasts in the sauce, making sure you cover the breasts completely.

Cover the saucepan with plastic and place it in the fridge, leave it in for a good 24 hours!

Heat up your electric grill to a medium heat, place on the chicken breasts. Grill for 12 - 15 minutes until cooked through.

Serve right off the grill.

"Lamb Burgers"

Grilled Burgers Ingredients

- 1 kg Ground lamb

- 2 eggs

- 1 onion (minced)

- 2 cloves garlic (minced)

- 1 tablespoon black pepper

- 2 teaspoons of salt

- 1 teaspoon of turmeric

- 1 teaspoon of coriander

Method

Combine all ingredients except for the eggs and lamb in a mixing bowl. Give it a good mix up!

In a different bowl beat the eggs up until they nice and fluffy. Then pour the spices from the other bowl into the beaten eggs mixture.

Then add the lamb and mix ingredients together. Form the mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick!

Heat up the electric grill to a medium heat and grease the grill grid.

Grill each patty for bout 4 minutes on each side until cooked through.

Serve hot on rolls with lettuce, cheese and tomatoes! (yummy!!)



"Iranian Kebabs"

BBQ Kebabs Ingredients

- 1 kg ground beef or lamb

- 1 tablespoon of salt

- 1 onion (minced)

- 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper

- 2 teaspoons of cumin

Method

Combine the onion, cumin, pepper and salt in a mixing bowl. Give it a good stir!

Take small portions of ground beef/lamb, about the size of golf balls. (sport & barbecuing)

Roll the balls around in the spice mixture and then form the meat into squares.

Place the squares through flat skewers. (metal or wood)

Repeat until you have full sized kebabs.

Grill on medium heat for about 4 to 6 minutes until meat is no longer pink.

Serve the rice or salad! (great indoor grill recipe!)
